~Concert I: The Post-Haste Reed Duo (www.posthasteduo.com)~
From Bach to the most recent avant-garde electroacoustic chamber music available,
performed by bassoonist Javier Rodriguez & saxophonist Sean Fredenburg.
Come by 7:15 PM for a pre-concert talk by our two World-Premiere piece composers,
Lanier Sammons & Jubilus Aristic Co-Director Nansi Carroll.
Other composers include Lawrence Dillon, Simon Hutchinson, & Peter V. Swendsen.

~Educational Outreach: Bassoon & Saxophone Workshop~
On Saturday, January 26th our 2013 Jubilus Resident Artists,
Javier Rodriguez & Sean Fredenburg of the Post-Haste Reed Duo,
will provide a FREE workshop for local high school musicians.
One student duo will be chosen to perform a Bach Two-Part Invention
at the February 9th, 2013 Jubilus Festival Finale Concert.
The Finale will also premiere “Taking Flight Fanfare” by David Ousley,
winner of the 2012 Jubilus educational outreach project:
The Young Composers Competition.
