A MUSICAL OFFERING
NEEDS YOU!

AMO is seeking volunteers who are passionate about…

  • presenting live, free, small venue musical performances in Gainesville & N-Centr. FL,
  • supporting local artists and living composers,
  • and providing free or affordable, high quality music education opportunities to local children and youth.

For our Board:

The Board of Directors sets policy, ensures that fiscal and legal responsibilities are met, oversees the Action Team, and ensures the fulfillment of AMO’s mission and the vision of the Artistic Director(s).

Applicants should be passionate about offering our community a diversity of excellent musical events and high quality musical education opportunities and fulfilling AMO’s vision and mission. Experience with non-profit organizations, fundraising, financial management, musical performance, and/or education is helpful, but no specific skills are necessary.

The Board of Directors meets generally three to four times per year. Board members attend fund raising events and concerts/educational activities as possible.

For our Action Team:

Action Team Members make Jubilus Concerts and AMO Educational Outreach HAPPEN! The Action Team DIRECTLY impacts our local community, as well as making the support of local musicians and living composers possible.

The Action Team, under the supervision of the Board of Directors and in cooperation with the Artistic Directors, is responsible for the execution of all events and programs of A Musical Offering, Inc.

There are four divisions of the Action Team – a Concert Series Team, Summer Music Camp Team, Communications Team, and Fundraising Team. Interested volunteers can serve on more than one team.

Experience with music, musical performance and/or education, communications, marketing, public relations, fundraising/grant writing, social media, or event planning is helpful.
